I began painting during the Covid lockdown, rekindling an early passion first inspired by my father, an artist himself. In a strange, still time, it gave me the two things I needed most: a meditative focus to steady my days, and a shot of joy. My design background shapes how I work, meticulous hand-drawn geometric compositions in a vibrant color palette.

The precision is where the meditation lives. Each shape takes time and a steady hand, and that slowness is the point, the concentration leaves no room for my mind to wander. Out of that quiet focus comes work that's anything but quiet: childlike, cheerful, full of energy. I'm always chasing the tension between the two — control and play, discipline and delight — in pursuit of a balance between excitement and tranquility.
