CARTO's web design

As with any website, designing CARTO's commercial site took a lot of thought and balancing of the diverse departmental goals and company purposes that were at play.

CARTO obviously sees its website as the main marketing asset of the company, so beyond being able to attract new users and clearly communicate the added value of its products and its features, it also needed to be great at user to client conversion.

Beyond marketing, explaining a complex concept such as Location Intelligence so that diverse audiences, ranging from top-level decision makers to experienced developers, would understand it... well, it takes a village. It means not only working on the initial messaging but also creating great learning sites and blogs in which we could teach our users how to use our products to extract value from their own particular data.

CARTO's website is a project in constant growth and improvement. Designed and developed by a six-persons team.
